Provincial Nominee Programs

Most provinces and territories in Canada can nominate immigrants who have the skills, education and work experience and want to settle there.

Provincial and territorial governments continue to experiment with creative programs and criteria designed to assist the province’s economic growth and  welcome newcomers to their region.  The programs vary widely in each Province. Each PNP is designed to the province’s or territory’s specific needs to select nominees who will be able to settle into life and work in the region and to effectively contribute to the community.

To apply under the Provincial Nominee Program, applicants must be nominated by a Canadian province or territory.
