Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) – Skilled Workers
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is a provincially established program that allows the Government of Manitoba to elect and recruit foreign individuals who are outstanding candidates able to contribute to Manitoba’s economy.
The two immigration streams included in the MPNP include skilled workers and business investors.
MPNP Family Support Stream
Individuals may apply to the MPNP Family Support priority assessment stream if they possess the following qualities:
- Have a close relative who is a settled resident of Manitoba and is willing to provide assistance during the immigration process;
- Meets all age, education, work experience and language ability requirements
In addition, applicants must be able to provide an Affidavit of Support from a close relative living in Manitoba (can be a parent, child, sibling, cousin, niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, or grandparent) and meet the following requirements:
- Must be 21-49 years of age;
- Complete at least 1 year of post-secondary education and receive a diploma or certificate;
- Possess 2 years of work experience within the last 5 years;
- Must have the necessary language skills to be successful in Manitoba’s labour force
