Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OPNP)— Investors

Investment Requirements:

Conditions for eligible investments:

• Must total to at least $3,000,000 CDN
• Must have the ability to create at least 5 permanent, full-time job opportunities for Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Ontario
• Must be endorsed by an Ontario Ministry

Note: that the investment will not be prohibited by federal law.

If the investment is deemed eligible, applicants may request a maximum of 25 investment nominee positions. These nominee positions that must comply with the following:

• Must be necessary for the long-term success of the investment
• Meet the corresponding wage standards for numerous positions
• Must be full time and permanent
• Be enlisted in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill levels O,A,B

The investor must adhere to the requirements below:

• Be continuously and actively involved in the day-to-day management activities of the business
• Own at least one third of the business or invest at least $1 million CDN in the business
• Must not be able to redeem the investment after a specific amount of time
• The main objective of the investment must not be to derive interest, dividends or capital gains
