New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) – Business Immigration
The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program is a provincial government immigration program that seeks eligible applicants who intend to relocate and reside in New Brunswick while contributing to the local economy
In order to be eligible to this program, applicants must be between the ages of 22 to 55, willing to establish a new business in New Brunswick and score at least 50 points based on a self-assessment that includes factors such as education, business experience, language fluency and adaptability
Program requirements:
- Completion of a high school education and diploma
- Applicant must be able to present sufficient proof that he or she will reside in New Brunswick while operating a business under an active managerial role
- Acquire a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the last 5 years as an owner or senior manager of a business in the private sector
- Undergo an extensive research process that includes visiting New Brunswick for at least 5 business days and meeting with an Immigration Program Officer during the stay
- Business plan or proposal must be profitable therefore beneficial to the province of New Brunswick and will first be approved by an Immigration Officer
- Invest at least $125,000 CDN
- Adequate fluency in English and/or French necessary to manage a business in Canada
- Have minimum personal net worth of $300,000 CDN
- Make a $75,000 CDN conditionally refundable deposit preceding the nomination
